Bringing UK AOR to the masses
Following the demise of Keighley school rockers "Ethel and the Heroes", Darren, Derek and Phil recruited bass player Nick Hudson and local singer-songwriter Neil Thomas, to form Heaven Scent in 1992.
The five-piece power pop rock band went on to play numerous shows in and around West Yorkshire and attracted record company interest. A signing with Bradford's Pax Records gave the band an insight into the music business and this very negative experience led to the recording of the self-funded Head up in the clouds Album. Twelve songs which showcased their commercial potential, recorded at Bradford's In A City Studio.
